Archie White is an independent contemporary dance artist who centres his work around performing, collaborating between art forms, choreographing and producing. Born in Frimley, Archie began training at the Centre for Advanced Training at Trinity Laban, National Youth Dance Company and Rambert School.​

After graduating Rambert School, Archie joined Rambert2 and then Rambert Dance Company. Alongside performance work, Archie was Equity representative, assisted the running of the Playground (a monthly artistic exchange between professional artists) and produced choreographic showcase events in the Rambert Southbank building.


Since leaving the company in January 2024 Archie has worked in film, opera, theatre and contemporary dance. Most recent work includes WINNER, a dance film directed by Marianna Simnett, choreographed by Ben Duke and Liam Francis, cinematography by Robbie Ryan; Echo and Narcissus choreographed by Kim Brandstrup, rehearsal direction by Jonathan Goddard, commissioned by Deborah Warner.

As a dancer, Archie has performed repertoire by Sharon Eyal, Andrea Miller, Alonzo King, Trisha Brown Dance Company, Imre and Marne Van Opstal and Christopher Bruce.​​​​​ Archie has created roles/new works with selected choreographers including Damien Jalet, Kim Brandstrup, Micaela Taylor, Meg Lawson, Benoit Swan Pouffer, Ben Duke.

In addition to his performance career, Archie continues  to be involved choreography. In 2024, Archie was choreographer and dance captain for Mozart's The Magic Flute directed by Melly Still and conducted by Finnegan Downie Dear with Britten Sinfonia Orchestra.
